Bitsy Grant Legacy Society

The Bitsy Grant Legacy Society was established to recognize and honor those who have provided for the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in their estate plans.  Gift commitments may be made by bequest intention in a will or living trust, as well as in a variety of ways that provide tax benefits and income for life to the donor.

Membership

Membership in the Bitsy Grant Legacy Society is an important way to ensure the future of the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center through a philanthropic gift, while receiving maximum tax and estate benefits that enhance your financial well being.  Bitsy Grant Legacy Society members recognize the importance of an endowment that provides for the future care and maintenance of the tennis center.

Membership is granted to those who have chosen to make a planned gift to the Tennis Center in one or more of the following ways.

• A bequest intention of cash, securities, closely held stock, real estate or tangible property
• Life income gifts such as:
    1. Charitable Gift Annuities
    2. Charitable Remainder Trusts
    3. Charitable Lead Trusts
• As well as:
    1. Life Insurance
    2. Qualified Retirement Plans

Your gift

Your gift will provide support for the Friends of Bitsy Grant Tennis’ programming, and maintenance and care of the Center in perpetuity.  As a Legacy Society member, you demonstrate your commitment to ensuring that the 1952 award winning Tennis Center and state of the art courts will be preserved and cared forever and youth programming will encourage life-long sport for healthy minds and bodies.
Your unrestricted gift helps ensure that in years to come income from your gift will be directed where it is most needed and can do the most good.  If you prefer, you may designate your gift for a specific purpose, such as an education program.
